　　THE ROLE: Xylem is seeking Intern candidates with electrical engineering background to join our team for a summer internship. The intern will work closely with an Electric Engineering team while also having exposure to the Project Management Execution team. This will be a 10 week internship position located onsite at our Milwaukie, WI facility.

　　The hourly rate for an intern is dependent on a variety of factors including major, year in school and geographic location. The average hourly rate for an intern is between $21.00 - $27.00/hour. Locations of internships will vary based on the specified project and function, and will either be on-site, hybrid or fully remote.

　　CORE RESPONSIBILITIES :

　　Work closely with the electrical engineering teams supporting our Sanitaire team to execute project assignments, structured around PLC programming, reviewing electrical drawings, generating power load calculations, inspecting fabricated equipment, and running testing parameters on completed systems.

　　Support engineering Continuous Improvement opportunities

　　Identify best practices

　　Assist with QC product and process audits (if time permits)

　　Assist in driving safety and sustainability cultures in the workplace

　　QUALIFICATIONS :

　　Currently enrolled in a 4-year degree program in Electrical Engineering. Must be in at least junior standing as of the Fall, 2023 semester.

　　Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.

　　Strong decision making and organizational skills.

　　Ability to effectively and professionally present information in one-on-one and small group organization.

　　Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail.

　　Familiarity with Microsoft office products, with ability to learn internal systems.

　　Strong attention to detail.

　　Ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment
