In this position, you will be responsible for carrying out design and development assignments connected with manufacturing equipment and processes including: reactors, mixers, and special equipment to achieve desired production rates and quality standards.

　　Job Responsibilities

　　Investigates and analyzes the cost and reliability of using various equipment and processes.*Studies performance and troubles in existing tools and equipment and recommends improvements through redesign or modification.*Estimates costs of assigned projects together with a satisfactory delivery schedule.*Follows up to see that schedules are met.*Makes layouts and detail drawings of equipment assigned.*Evaluates various equipment and methods and points out advantages, disadvantages and production capabilities.*Recommends the purchase items needed to keep equipment properly maintained.*Checks on process capabilities of equipment designed to see that it is properly maintained.*Keeps abreast of all new development in equipment or processes that could be adapted to improve manufacturing processes.*Ability to use Microsoft suite of products.Education RequiredAt least Soph level in BS/BA Chemical Engineering program
