  Job Description

  AECOM is seeking an experienced Interior Architecture Senior Project Manager for our New York City, NY office

  The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  Plans, directs, and leads technical staff in successful execution of projects in design and construction

  Acts as primary point of contact with client and manage the relationship with all stakeholders

  Responsible for delivering revenues assigned from specific clients as a result of repeat business caused by flawless execution of projects

  Manages portfolio of clients with multiple projects

  Manages projects on a local, regional, or national basis achieving quality outcomes, positive financial performance, and client satisfaction

  Successfully develops strategy, prepares proposals, negotiates contracts, leads project teams and executes projects

  Coordinate internal resources and third parties/subcontractors for the flawless execution of projects

  Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget

  Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility

  Develop and monitor a detailed project plan to track progress and identify shortfalls in a timely manner

  Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs to minimize risk

  Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques

  Report and escalate to management as needed

  Perform risk management to minimize project risks

  Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

  Meet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis

  Identify new business opportunities and support marketing efforts

  Qualifications

  Minimum Requirements:

  Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design plus eight (8) years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or educationPreferred Qualifications:

  10 years of progressively responsible experience with Architecture or Interior Design multidisciplinary teams on project deliverables and business development is strongly preferred

  Experience in implementing design quality assurance and quality control activities

  Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated team-building ability and internal/ external networking skills

  Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

  Proven organizational skills with a proven track record in client satisfaction while meeting deliverables and deadline requirements

  Internally driven, self-starter, team orientated

  Experience working on tenant improvement projects of various sizes and complexity

  Professional Registration in Architecture or Interior Design

  Project Management Professional certification (PMP)

  Additional Information

  Relocation is not available for this role.

  Offered rate of compensation (NYC locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $120,000 to $185,000.
