We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Controller in Arlington, Texas. As an Interim Controller, you will be managing full-cycle accounting activities and preparing financial statements for various departments. This role is crucial in safeguarding our company assets, overseeing cash control processes, and ensuring accurate financial reporting within the industry. This is a 2-3 month contract position. 100% ONSITE in Arlington, Texas.

Interim Controller (contract):

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage full-cycle accounting activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP

• Prepare and analyze financial statements and provide insights to senior management

• Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity

• Oversee cash management and cash control processes

• Coordinate with external auditors and prepare audit schedules

• Assist with EDGAR filings and ensure compliance with SEC regulations

• Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate financial reporting

• Utilize Accounting Software Systems and Crystal Reports for daily accounting tasks

• Conduct auditing and budget processes

• Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable duties

3 Keys:

Full-cycle accounting, financial statement preparation, and GAAP

Cash Management

Requirements

Education: Bachelors+ in Accounting, Finance, or Administration

Certifications: CPA would be ideal

Software: QuickBooks Desktop and Excel
