Responsibilities

Include, but are not limited to:

Collaborates with account teams in understanding the maturity levels of customer data center environments through review and evaluation of Infrastructure technologies, consumption, implementations, andprocesses 

Responsible for designing and proposing infrastructure solutions that meet customer's businessobjectives  

Strengthen our technical relationships with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), strategic and emerging partners to increase knowledge and be considered for beta programs to better serve our customers with best current product information  

Conduct product training and positioning for the Sales team and customer 

Qualifications

PreferredBachelor’sdegree or equivalent work experience

2+ years' experience working in complex Data Center technical presalesopportunities

Advanced knowledge of servers, storage, virtualization technologies, hybrid cloud, converged infrastructure, and software-defined data centersregardingtheir impact on the business

Experience with Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity and High Availability Solutions (backup/recovery, data protection, mirroring, active/standby, active/active, clustering)

Expertisein mainstream technologies toinclude:Dell Technologies, NetApp, HPE, Cisco, Pure Storage, Azure, AWS, Veeam, Nutanix 

Required Skills

Ability to design data center infrastructures that include hybrid cloud, hyper converged, software-defined data center (SDDC), infrastructure/platform as a service,automation, containerization, andData Center Management Platforms.

Strong knowledge of Virtualization technologies, Hypervisors, server virtualization, Software Defined Data Center, containerization, and automation 

Highcapacityto understand complex technical and selling situations and the ability to solve the problem orsolicitthe requiredresources  

Must be results driven witha strong senseofurgency 

Attention to detail, organization, and follow up skills arecritical  

Certifications Required

Preferredcertifications in one or more of the following mainstream technologies:

Dell Technologies, Cisco, VMware, NetApp, Pure Storage, HPE, Azure, AWS, Commvault, Rubrik, Cohesity, Veeam, Nutanix Unique Requirements

Position requires percentage travel of 30% for customer meetings, internal meetings or engagements, conferences, and SHI Offices Additional Information

The estimated annual pay range for this position is $120,000 - $230,000 which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
