　　POSITION SUMMARY: The Interface Analyst I will be responsible for providing support in the implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electronic medical record (EMR) interfaces. This includes working with various stakeholders, such as internal team members, clients, and vendors, to ensure seamless data exchange and integration across systems. The Interface Analyst I will also be responsible for identifying and resolving interface-related issues, performing system testing, and documenting processes.

　　ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

　　Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to understand interface requirements and business needs. Configure and test interfaces to ensure proper data exchange and integration. Identify and resolve interface issues by troubleshooting and escalating to appropriate parties. Develop and maintain interface documentation, including specifications and testing plans. Provide timely and effective support to internal and external clients. Participate in interface-related meetings and project planning activities. Develop an understanding of the EMR system and other relevant technologies. Participate in training and knowledge transfer activities. Work with vendors to troubleshoot and resolve interface issues.

　　Keep up to date with industry developments and best practices related to EMR interfacing.

　　NON-ESSENTIAL/MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:

　　Attend training sessions to improve technical and professional skills. Collaborate with other teams to improve system-wide processes and efficiencies. Develop and maintain non-interface related documentation, as needed. Assist with hardware and software upgrades, as needed.

　　Participate in research and development activities related to EMR interfacing.

　　REQUIRED/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

　　EDUCATION :

　　Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.EXPERIENCE :

　　1-2 years of experience in EMR interfacing, integration, or related field.

　　Hospital service awareness.

　　Regulatory and healthcare privacy law awareness and experience.

　　Relational database awareness.

　　PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

　　EDUCATION :

　　Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

　　Related certifications.

　　KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES :

　　2+ years of experience in EMR interfacing, integration, or related field, and experience with HL7 messaging standards.Interpersonal and communication skills.
