About Integrity/Corrosion Technician

  Audubon is currently seeking an Integrity/Corrosion Technician to join ourteam either in Tulsa (OK), Houston (TX), Denver (CO),Midland (TX) or Canonsburg (PA) locations. The role is responsible forthe day to day operations of all pipeline integrity and corrosion fieldservice activities in accordance with AFS and Client specifications and/orprocedures. Operations can include cathodic protection, internalcorrosion, AC/DC interference, and atmospheric corrosion. Must have NACECathodic Protection Tester (CP1) or Cathodic Protection Technician(CP2) certif

  PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  Key Areas of Responsibility will include:

  Support AFS Pipeline Integrity Department (office) in field data gatheringand projects.Provide quality survey/field data to office personnel in a timely manner.Adhere to Audubon and/or Operator field operation procedures, as required.Coordinate with office on daily basis for jobs assigned.Responsible for all field survey data collection.Work with Project Management to ensure timely coordination of field projects.Ensure field work and data meet Client specifications and communicateaccordingly.Be organized and maintain daily schedule.EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill,and/or ability required for the position:

  AAS in Pipeline Integrity or Corrosion preferred.Required: NACE Cathodic Protection Tester (CP1) or Cathodic ProtectionTechnician (CP2) certification.Minimum of 2+ years' of prior pipeline integrity and corrosion work.Experienced in Close Interval Survey, DCVG, ACVG, Data Logger, and PCMEquipment.Experienced in soil resistivity Wenner 4 pin method and pipe to soilmeasurements.Experienced in installation and repair of Test Stations.Experienced in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel.Must be detail oriented with the ability communicate effectively withco-workers, supervisors, internal and external customers.Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.Reliable transportation.Frequent standing and walking required throughout the day. Occasional climbingrequired. Frequent stooping, bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling,reaching, and twisting required. Frequent driving is required. May berequired to lift 50 pounds.Up to 100% travel.Weekend, holiday, and out of town work probable.
