Description
Position is responsible for maintaining, calibrating, troubleshooting & repairing electrical & electronic equipment throughout the production facility.
Essential Duties
Performs routine maintenance & calibration of process instrumentationPerforms routine maintenance & calibration of process valves & positionersTroubleshoots instrumentation, electrical & valve problemsRepairs instrumentation & valvesUnderstands Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and Distributed Control Systems (DCS) programmingGenerally works with 480 volts and belowCommunicates results verbally and in writingMaintains accurate calibration records, including paper forms and files, and electronic forms and databasesInterpret Instrumentation and Electrical printsFollows SOP's and established safety guidelinesFollows personal protective equipment requirements, which includes wearing of flame retardant clothingMaintains work area in a clean, safe and appropriate conditionWorks outside in all weather conditionsMust be able to work at heightsRequirements

Bachelor of Science or Technical Degree in Electrical / Electronics, Military Electronics training or prior experience as an Instrumentation Technician / Journeyman Electrician is highly desired for the position.
Hours of Operation
Positions is located in Marysville, Michigan. Position is full time (40 hours/week). Typical hours are 7 am - 3:30 pm Monday through Friday. Must be willing to work overtime and off shift hours, including weekends and holidays.
