Instrument Tech I - Central Sterilization

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Instrument Technician I to join our team. As an Instrument Technician I, you will play a vital role in maintaining and calibrating a variety of instruments and equipment to ensure the smooth operation of our facility. This position offers an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for precision and a keen interest in technology.
Responsibilities
Assist in the installation, calibration, and maintenance of instruments and equipment.
Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with instruments and equipment, making necessary repairs or adjustments.
Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance.
Keep accurate records of all maintenance and calibration activities.
Collaborate with other team members to support the maintenance of equipment throughout the facility.
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times.
Stay up-to-date with industry standards and technological advancements in instrument technology.
Qualifications
High School education or Equivalent required.
Expectation of employee completing a Central Supply and Sterile Processing Certification within one year of hire.
Six to twelve months of related experience desired.
This position is represented by SEIU-UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
Pay Range
$22.34 - $28.09 /hour
