The Motor Transport Operator Course (MTOC) Instructor shall be able to lift 40 pounds of tools and parts; mount/dismount large and oversized tactical vehicles, and perform lifting for requirements to support troop movement, vehicle maintenance and maintaining safe training areas. The MTOC Instructor must have previously held a Commercial Drivers License (CDL) or have previous military drivers equivalence. The MTOC Instructor shall have a minimum of one (1) year of experience teaching or instructing in an adult education program, secondary school, college, military installation, or other industrial establishment. It is preferred that the MTOC Instructor have at least two (2) years experience in teaching or instructing military Drivers Training. The MTOC Instructor shall hold a valid Class A CDL or have the ability to acquire a Class A CDL within 45 days of the start of performance of services on this task order; the Class A CDL shall be maintained for the duration of performance on this task order. The MTOC Instructor shall have excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze situations, identify existing or potential problems and recommend solutions. The MTOC Instructor shall be proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel).The MTOC Instructor shall be capable of becoming completely certified and presenting all 88M blocks of instruction for the lessons. The MTOC Instructor shall be able to determine the manner in which to best convey the course material to the students using a combination of teaching methods, e.g., conferences, demonstrations, and practical exercises on equipment, to present the subject matter. The MTOC Instructor shall have outstanding verbal and written communication skills necessary to perform all tasks in this PWS. The MTOC Instructor shall be a high school graduate or possess a General Education Diploma (GED) and other tasks assigned.
