10 Month Position

　　MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

　　Facilitate regional and district professional learning (Grades K-12) that integrates the use of instructional technology

　　Collaborate with BT BOCES Professional Learning & Innovation Center team, district administrators, and district staff to plan professional learning opportunities

　　Facilitate targeted, district-based professional learning, including, but not limited to :

　　Modeling effective instructional practices in classrooms

　　Implementation of the Computer Science & Digital Fluency Standards

　　Planning with teachers

　　Coaching teachers on their purposeful integration of instructional technology

　　Presenting new instructional technologies and how they can be used effectively in classrooms

　　Support district administration in their understanding of effective technology integration

　　Access current research and best practices about effective technology integration in the K-12 classroom and design professional learning that is consistent with research

　　Job Qualifications

　　REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

　　NYS Teaching Certification

　　Three years successful classroom teaching experience

　　Demonstration of quality integration of technology in classroom practices

　　Civil Service Title: Instructional Support Specialist
