Job Description Summary
Design, develop, deliver, and manage training content and programs for instructor-led and computer-based learning for insurance agents of World Financial Group Insurance Agency, both in the US and Canada, and registered representatives of Transamerica Financial Advisors, Inc. Assess and determine training needs based on interactions with sales leadership, managerial feedback, and observation of agent activity and performance. Conduct ongoing evaluation of the effectiveness of training efforts based on levels of participant reaction, knowledge acquired, behavioral change, and business impact.
Job Description
Responsibilities
Collaborate with a variety of subject matter experts to analyze, design, develop, deliver, and manage complex training and development projects related to financial products, sales practices, regulations, technology platforms, and related systems.
Support strategic initiatives; attend meetings and support project work in new products and system projects. Meet regularly with the leaders to assess involvement and impact, and identify gaps or items that need to be addressed throughout the process.
Use instructional design theory and methodologies to author, design, and implement training programs. Determine training strategies and technologies appropriate for intended audiences.
Continual process improvement and partnership with team members to ensure consistency and leverage knowledge and experience to ensure a quality product that adds value to the organization.
Develop, Design, develop, and facilitate on-going training for continual improvement of sales skills (e.g. relationship selling, decision-making styles, customer centric language, etc.)
Develop, Deliver and assess process and system training.
Design and develop curriculum, resources and job aids that support the success of the learning programs.
Evaluate content from third party providers and provide feedback/recommendations; manage scheduling, delivery, tracking, and integration of third-party content within the TFA learning ecosystem.
Develop and deliver operational and soft skills programs utilizing a variety of learning methods.
Evaluate participant and manager evaluations to measure the effectiveness of training, with a focus on long-term behavioral implementation and business impact.
Provide focused training to select groups as requested.
Attend meetings with various departments and independent sales teams, marketing partners, vendors, etc. to develop sales strategies, materials, and messaging to support products and services.
Assist in the administration of Learning Management System (LMS) and other training technology platforms; help drive continual improvement of the end user experience and operational efficiencies.
Assist field representatives with technical issues.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a business field or equivalent experience
Five years learning and development experience
Working knowledge of insurance and securities products, regulations, and sales practices
Knowledge of adult learning principles
Advanced documentation and technical writing skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to work on a team and independently
Ability to incorporate creative and innovative solutions in a learning environment
Project management skills
Preferred Qualifications
Good understanding of instructional design principles and best practices
Strong documentation and technical writing skills
Training experience in the financial services industry
Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP)
Degree in instructional design
Articulate Storyline and/or Rise
Camtasia
Experience with learning management systems (LMS)
FINRA Series 6 or 7, and 63 licenses
Insurance licenses

Please note that the compensation information that follows is a good faith estimate for this position only and is provided pursuant to applicable pay transparency and compensation posting laws. It is estimated based on what a successful candidate might be paid in certain Company locations.*
Compensation:
The salary for this position generally ranges between $82,000 - $92,000 . This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications, operational needs and other considerations permitted by law. The range may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Rule 4.1.2.
Additionally, this position is typically eligible for an Annual Bonus of 10% based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at the Company’s discretion.
