Full time, entry-level training position

　　WAGE: $15/hr or higher for demonstrated knowledge, skills, abilities

　　The trainee will support the Flooring Installer and acquire the knowledge, skills, and abilities to progress to the Installer level. Candidates will be considered only if work record and experience demonstrate a reliable, quality worker

　　DUTIES:

　　Warehouse - cleaning, receiving, loading, delivery

　　General labor on all types of flooring projects - carpet, vinyl, laminate, wood, tile

　　Remove old materials, prepare sub-floors, lift and carry materials tools, remove replace furniture, install catch strips, remove replace trim

　　other related general tasks and activities, such as shoveling or blowing snow to maintain business premises.

　　QUALIFICATIONS:

　　Must have a HS Diploma or equivalent

　　Current driver's license with insurable record

　　Experience with use of basic construction toolsAble to do the physical work of the job, including frequent moderate and occasional heavy lifting and carrying

　　Work on hands knees for extended periods

　　Read and interpret drawings and written instructions

　　Able to accurately measure and make math computations to determine material quantities

　　Willing to work longer hours when required to finish a job that is almost done or when travelling distances to worksites, in order to maximize effective work time
