About Installation Manager

  P rincipal Service Solutions is hiring an Installation Manager who will be responsible for providing  system-level electro/mechanical expertise to field service personnel and customers for troubleshooting design or field-based critical equipment problems and providing on-site support for new product installs.   

  Must be willing to travel both domestically and internationally.

  This is a full-time position with full benefits! Our benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, and paid holidays. 

  Pay Range: $50-$60 an hour Depending on Experience

  Position Summary:

  Plan, perform, and implement process improvement initiatives (such as Lean or Six Sigma).

  Develop methods and timelines to control resources, schedules, and budgets.  Align project teams, factory teams, and field teams including customer and field service representatives, reducing installation costs, and driving best practices.

  Able to log calls and utilize problem-solving techniques to drive the root cause of customer issues.

  Use multiple software packages such as MS Dynamics, Glovia, E-Quote, Visio, Project, Power BI, and Cognos.

  Provide system-level electro/mechanical expertise to field service personnel and customers for troubleshooting design or field-based critical equipment problems and providing on-site support for new product installs.  Communication by phone, email, and on-site.

  Conduct postmortem process and technical reviews with install and field teams to drive solutions, quality, and cost improvement through the different product lines.

  Organize, lead, and facilitate cross-functional project teams for solutions to difficult technical problems.

  Report and review monthly metrics associated with cost, hours, training, and failures, and support Senior Staff with corrective actions, dates, and milestones focused on continuous improvements and cycle time improvements.

  Analyze Warranty and Install Actual Costs for strategic year-over-year improvements, reporting, and forecasting.

  Analyze Top Warranty and Install Parts Failures for Root Cause and Corrective Action.

  Participate in both internal and external financial and ISO audits.

  Travel Requirements: 

  Travel worldwide to support and coordinate pre and post-install support for new products. Estimate 10% to 15%.

  Required Skills:

  Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.

  Strong documentation and organization skills.

  Ability to work as part of a team to resolve client issues.

  Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, self-managed environment.

  Excellent communication, and ability to manage committed deadlines.

  Required Experience:

  BSEE/BSME/BSCE preferred plus 5 years of experience.

  Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint

  Knowledge of MS Dynamics, Glovia, Windchill

  Green Belt Certification a plus

  2 years experience installing Semiconductor capital equipment 

  Implant semiconductor experience is a plus
