**CAMERON COUNTY ELECTIONS BOARD IS SEEKING SELF MOTIVATED AND HIGHLY ORGANIZED INDIVIDUAL****

　　Election Assistant - Part time 20 hours per week

　　Location: Cameron County Courthouse -- Commissioners' Office 20 E 5th Street, Emporium PA 15834

　　Hourly Wage: $12.00

　　Job Summary: Assist Elections Director with the overall operations involved in the election process held throughout Cameron County, and shall be responsible for processing voter registrations, schedule and recruit election officials/poll workers, assist in the validity and sufficiency of petitions, maintain inventory of election supplies, assist in the absentee and mail in ballot process. Work closely with Elections Director during the reporting period, assist on Election Day with processing ballots and recording the final vote tallies. Other duties will be required and assigned.

　　Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalency, strong understanding of and ability to use Microsoft Office products, Adobe Acrobat, database management, various software applications. Ability to get along with others and adapt to stressful and emergency situations and conduct oneself in a professional manner. Ability to exercise good judgement, discretion in handling confidential materials and matters.

　　**Board employees will be required to work extended hours over and above the normal business hours during peak election times and on Primary Election days and General Election days.
