The effective candidate will work from planning sheets, blueprints, quality control specifications, oral and written instructions, and contractual requirements.
Additional responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:Inspect for final acceptance, all types and series of electronic hardwareInspect and accept electronic hardware referencing quality control standards, workmanship, and drawing specifications; by checking such items as parts, wires, solder joints, and terminals, using appropriate inspection devicesPrepare reports and maintain records as neededMeet necessary certifications as requiredPerform incidental related duties as assigned or instructedReview deliverable Acceptance and Test Data Packages (ADP/TDP) to assure they are correct and complete as defined by the contract before submitting to customer acceptancePerform hardware and process auditsU.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to obtain a U.S Classified Clearance.
Required SkillsMinimum (4) years of experience as a quality inspector or comparable experienceExperience using calibrated inspection measurement resources such as micrometers, calipers, microscope, and rulersExperience with drawing and blueprint readingAbility to understand and communicate with engineering teams, facilitators, and managersAbility to recognize and enforce compliance to Raytheon Technologies' policies and proceduresAbility to perform quality inspections with minimal mentor oversightExcellent communication skillsDesired SkillsComputer skills with Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to work with a high degree of enthusiasm and efficiencyAbility to effectively communicate with management, supervisors, and peers to resolve issuesDisplay a thorough personal commitment to successfully complete all projectsDemonstrates a high level of initiative (self-starter)Previous interaction with the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA)Required EducationHigh School Diploma or Equivalent
