Job Description
The Inside sales team is responsible for supporting our Regional Sales Managers and resellers (VARs). This includes providing quotes for system support and software upgrade renewals (SUSP), maintaining data integrity. As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating new business leads and closing sales deals over the phone. This role requires excellent communication skills, a persuasive personality, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced sales environment. The successful candidate will:
Job Responsibilities:
Prospect and generate leads: Conduct outbound calls to potential customers, identify their needs, and qualify them as sales leads.
Close sales: Utilize strong negotiation and persuasion skills to convert leads into sales opportunities and close deals over the phone.
Achieve sales targets: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and contribute to the overall sales team goals.
Maintain accurate records: Document all sales activities, customer interactions, and updates in the CRM system.
Stay updated: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitive products to effectively position our offerings.
Collaborate with the sales team: Coordinate with the sales team to optimize customer engagement strategies and provide feedback on customer requirements.
Provide exceptional customer service: Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
Provide active participation in sales activities required to achieve business success
Participate in clear communication with your teammates and customers
Ensure connectivity with business imperatives
Develop strategic clarity and a clear understanding of your assigned role, expectations, and performance
Strong interpersonal written/verbal communication, organizational, and leadership skills
Developed and proven sales skills, including prospecting, negotiating, influencing, and selling
Ability to interface and influence at all levels in the organization
Ability to speak publicly
Proven analytical and problem resolution skills
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
Strong attention to detail
Proactive and high energy, strong customer focus and responsiveness, adaptable
Technically competent to run product demonstrations
