About Inside Key Account Representative

  DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY

  This position will work within a strategic business unit which support and manage a number of the company's high profile accounts which utilize our distribution strengths to meet their production needs. The role will work to satisfy customers' needs, respond to their queries in a timely manner and aspire to deliver a positive customer experience. Additionally, supports the development of long-term relationships with our customers through positive interaction within the business unit.

  ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  Performs internal sales and external customer communicationReview of customer account health and profitabilityWurth Business Review interactionInterdepartmental communicationCollaborate within business unit team to identify, research, and resolve customer issuesQuotingReceipt and processing of all inbound customer RFQ opportunitiesOpportunity information gatheringStandard part identificationAssigning margin for opportunity profitabilityFollow-up on customer inquiries, open quotes, and unresolved requests to insure resolutionManage customer feedbackAppropriate department routingCustomer Inventory ManagementReporting action and maintenanceOpen order reportInventory Days on HandStock StatusExpediting with Purchasing PlannersCommunicate customer forecast changesContinuously identify opportunities to improve our customer programsManagement of customer complaints, returns, invoicing issuesEnsure complete customer satisfaction by providing prompt, courteous serviceRepresent the company professionally at all times in a customer relations capacityPerforms other duties, as assignedQUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  Bachelor's Degree Preferred. High school diploma/GEDMinimum 2 - 4 years customer service or related experience is requiredBeginner to intermediate experience in Microsoft Outlook, Word and PowerPointBeginner to intermediate Excel skillsSAP skills are advantageousAbility to read customer purchase ordersAbility to work cross functionally to achieve required goalsAbility to maintain and update information dailyAbility to communicate professionally through written, oral, or other forms of communication.Ability to identify problems and communicate the situation in order to drive to a solutionAbility to interpret a variety of instructions furnished through written, oral, excel, or other forms required.Good judgement and decision making skillsMust occasionally lift, carry or move up to 25 lbs.
