Mission for Position The Infusion Therapy RN Supervisor will work closely with the team to deliver high quality care to outpatient infusion and oncology patients. Position Summary Lakewood Health System is looking for a RN Supervisor with experience in Chemotherapy and Infusion Therapy, and who is familiar with the amount of compassion and kind of pace that is involved with this specialty. This role is responsible for providing high quality, safe care to patients in the Infusion Therapy department while helping patients achieve their optimal health and wellness. Duties include but are not limited to the coordination of patient care while they are receiving infusion therapy, immunotherapy and chemotherapy from admission to discharge and assisting the Director of Oncology with day-to-day operational workflows and staffing needs while promoting a culture of collaboration and strong working relationships #onelakewood! Position Type This is a full-time position working up to 80 hours per pay period, scheduled between the hours of 7:00AM-5:30PM, Monday through Friday. At times this schedule may be adjusted to meet the needs of our patients and the department, however no weekends are required. Qualifications Qualifications Ability to serve as a leader, role model and innovator Current MN RN licensure Chemotherapy and Infusion Therapy experience required BLS/ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire Chemotherapy training preferred Oncology Certified Nurse is preferred ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate is required. If not already certified, we will require you to complete the ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate course within 90 days of being hired. The required training will be provided by Lakewood Health System.
