Key Responsibilities:Infrastructure Planning: Develop and execute strategic plans for the organization''s IT infrastructure to meet current and future business needs.Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, including network administrators, system administrators, and support staff, to ensure efficient infrastructure operations.Budget Management: Manage the infrastructure budget, including cost control, resource allocation, and vendor relationships.Technology Evaluation: Stay updated on emerging technologies and evaluate their potential benefits for the organization. Recommend and implement appropriate technological upgrades and improvements.Network Management: Oversee the organization''s network infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.Server and Data Center Management: Manage server hardware, data centers, and cloud resources, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.Security and Compliance: Implement security measures to protect infrastructure and data. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Develop and maintain plans for data backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity to minimize downtime and data loss.Vendor Management: Collaborate with technology vendors, negotiate contracts, and oversee service level agreements (SLAs).Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Address infrastructure-related issues and outages promptly, minimizing disruption to business operations.Capacity Planning: Monitor infrastructure usage and plan for capacity upgrades as needed to support business growth.
SkillsExperience in IT Infrastructure Management, including team leadership Required 15 YearsStrong knowledge of network architecture, server hardware, operating systems, and virtualization technologies RequiredProficiency in IT security best practices and compliance standards, experience with NIST standards RequiredExperience with project management processes and can oversee infrastructure projects successfully RequiredExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams and external partners RequiredCertifications such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or relevant vendor-specific certifications RequiredBachelor''s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology) or 8 years of equivalent experience Required
