About Information Technology Technician

　　INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY TECHNICIAN

　　 

　　The County of Washington is seeking an individual responsible for providing help desk support, network support and telecommunications functions for the Washington County Information Technology Department.

　　 

　　An Associate's Degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems is preferred. As a minimum, the candidate should have a certificate from a computer training school specializing in network administration.  Computer related work experience is required, as well as, knowledge of personal computers, network servers and network operating systems.  Knowledge of the Internet and web technology is desirable.

　　 

　　Starting wage - $22.367 per hour

　　After 90 days - $24.852 per hour

　　Benefits available after 90-days, six (6) month probationary period,

　　vacation after one (1) year
