Position Summary:

　　Serves as a senior technical leader in data center operations.

　　Provides guidance to other data center technicians.

　　Responsible for the day-to-day activities that support data center services (power, cooling, space) including hands on support of physical IT assets within the data center (systems, network, telecom).

　　Day to day activities span the ITIL framework (incident, problem, change, configuration) and include project activity.

　　Essential Functions and Responsibilities

　　:

　　Supports delivery of data center services locally owned and co-located, including data centers, data rooms, IT closets, and telecommunication rooms.

　　Maintain cleanliness, appearance, and organization of data center spaces (i.e. data centers, data rooms, etc…)

　　Acts as a technical and operational contact for data center customers, suppliers, and carriers.

　　Properly and efficiently install cabinets, networking equipment, PDU’s and servers as required.

　　Installation of fiber optic and ethernet cabling

　　Responsible for inbound/outbound shipments

　　Carries out remote hands tasks under the direction of colleagues, customer and suppliers.

　　Conducts activities inside IT and telecommunications rooms or cabinets such as the installation of IT and network hardware, making or running patch cables, and verifying or testing cable paths.

　　Coordinates and oversees access to and work within the facility with third-party contractors, vendors, and carriers related to structured cabling installation, circuit delivery and equipment installations in IT and telecommunications rooms and customer space.

　　Qualifications:

　　Required:

　　High school diploma or GED

　　5 years technical support experience in a data center and/or HVAC environment and/or electrical field

　　3 years experience in IT operations

　　1 years of experience coordinating projects

　　Ability to travel to other McLaren subsidiaries as needed

　　OR

　　Associate’s degree in related field

　　3 years technical support experience in a data center and/or HVAC environment and/or electrical field

　　2 years experience in IT operations

　　1 years of experience coordinating projects

　　Ability to travel to other McLaren subsidiaries as needed

　　Preferred:

　　Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation certified
