POSITION Allspring is seeking an Information Security Governance Analyst to join Allspring Information Security team. This new role will be based in the US and be responsible for a series of security- and control-related projects that enables business operability, governance, and risk. RESPONSIBILITIES Act as an analyst of business and technology functions with security risk, performance, operability and scale in mind, especially as it relates to data. Act as internal expert to technology and business groups, enabling and supporting the adoption of cutting-edge front-end technologies. Develop, implement and maintain all information security policies and procedures Build strong relationships with technology teams, compliance, privacy, solution teams and business application owners. Understand emerging threats and regulatory requirements to be able to inform and train employees on best practices and requirements. Form and implement and enforce industry best practices. Develop and implement new, innovative and differentiating control architectures to facilitate risk mitigation while enabling business growth and capability. Understand and be able to interpret emerging and evolving regulatory landscapes as they pertain to information security controls and risk mitigation. Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, compliance, legal, risk, and external industry groups to resolve complex security issues and achieve goals QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree or higher MIS, CS or other technology related field 5+ years of information security experience, preferably in Financial Services, Technology, or related field Be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and prioritize duties to meet deadlines with limited supervision Proven strong verbal and written communication skills Effective influencing and consensus-building skills Strategic focus on problem-solving Strong teaching and mentoring skills Strong presentation and communication skills, with able to bridge between technical and non-technical partners Position may require occasional travel outside of primary work location 2+ years of governance, risk, and compliance experience Proven experience working effectively in heavily distributed environment Consulting experience is a plus Exhibited experience with maintaining strong documentation Experience with the ability to transfer knowledge to key members of the team and act as a value-added resource Ability to interact confidently with counterparts at all levels within the firm Excellent pro lem solving and troubleshooting skills Demonstrated ability collaborate with teams spanning a range of locations Base Pay Range: $100,000 - $125,000 Salary Range for NYC and California candidates only.Actual based may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
