"Job#: 1367084Job Description:As anInformation Security Engineer, you will work hands on to assess andharden the mission systems to meet DISA compliance. You will work with theteam to develop automated STIGing capabilities utilizing a combination ofPowerShell, automated checklist scanning tools, and DevSecOps buildpipelines enabling the organization to improve our overall security baselinewhile reducing the manual checks required.Responsibilities:Perform automatedand manual STIG scans.Develop and remediate POA&Ms.Provides technicalCybersecurity Services to internal and external customers in support ofnetwork and information security systems.Prepare documentation frominformation obtained from customer using accepted guidelines such as RMF(Risk Management Framework).Recommend system enhancements to improvesecurity deficiencies.Secure system configurations and install securitytools, scan systems in order to determine compliancy and report results andevaluates products and various aspects of system administration.Conductsecurity program audits and develop solutions to mitigate risks.Evaluate,develop and enhance security assessment capabilities.Provide assistance incomputer incident investigations.Perform vulnerability assessments includingdevelopment of risk mitigation strategies.Audit computing and networkdevicesRequirements:An Associates degree and three year'srelevant experience.Proficient with Tenable Security Center (SC) andNESSUS; scanning and data analysis.Proficient with Trellix ePO server andend products; deployment, configuration, troubleshooting and dataanalysis.Proficient with STIGing tools; SCAP Compliance Checker, STIGViewer, and Vulnerator.Experience with STIGing multiple technologies(i.e., Windows, AD, VMware, RHEL, CISCO, DNS, PaloAlto).Secret security clearance.IAT level II baselinecertification.Computing Environment (CE) certification.DesiredSkills:Bachelor's degree or five years' relevantexperience.Proficient with using eMASS for managing enclave RMFrecords.Proficient with Powershell or other scripting languages.Experiencewith Amazon Web Services (AWS) architectures and security.Experience withDEVSECOPS.Experience with securing Kubernetes, Docker, andcontainers.Experience with Fortify Source Code Analysis and applicationsecurity.Experience with disaster recovery planning, testing, andexercising.Experience with incident response planning, testing, andexercising.Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.IAT Level IIIbaseline certification.EEO EmployerApex Systems is an equal opportunityemployer.
