Ziegler CAT has a full-time, Construction Technology Support Specialist opening. This position will provide technical support to Ziegler's customers, field service technicians and sales staff regarding current construction grade control technology product line. The technical support position will allow customers to communicate after the sale with individual's best suited to handle their technical questions and issues. This position will focus on helping internal and external customers efficiently use their equipment in the field.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Represent Ziegler technology grade control products including CAT, Trimble, Spectra, and others as they are sold to Ziegler'sConstruction marketWork with Ziegler's product managers to improve current product offeringWork with Ziegler product support field technicians to improve field repairs and to communicate troubleshooting standardsCoordinate and communicate with technical team to complete component support initiatives, identify warranty issues, facilitate product repairs and address other administrative tasks as requiredPrepare equipment for customer sales, at times lifting and moving bulky equipmentAt times climb onto equipment to aid install and troubleshooting in the field as well as demonstrate the use of technology to customersCommunicate with manufacturers to identify common failure causes and receive information related to product lifeResolve customer problems in a timely manner (via telephone calls, job site visits, office calls, etc.)Assist in development of classroom training material and share responsibility of leading classroom and field trainings to enhance Ziegler and customer technician learningRemove and installs GPS equipment as necessary in order to diagnose technical issues and failuresPerform back-up sales support as neededQualifications:

　　4 year Bachelor's degreeExceptional communication skills - ability to effectively present technical information and train new usersAbility to learn heavy equipment operation for the purpose of demonstration and trainingCustomer service orientedKnowledge of and experience with the following is preferred: Construction Technology such asTrimble, AccuGrade, CAT Grade ControlTechnical understanding of computer networks, systems and softwareTravel:

　　Up to 25% travel is likely (primarily by automobile) for day trips within the dealer territory. Infrequent air travel is required to attend training sessions, GPS equipment trade shows, supplier factory meetings, and as required.
