As Information Management, Senior Technology Specialist, youre responsible for designing, developing, summarizing, and executing the delivery of business intelligence, including creating platforms and solutions which allow Prudential Advisors Senior Leadership team to effectively manage their business and provide Territory Leaders and Advisors with the tools and resources needed to drive productivity and efficiency in their practice. You will interact with business analysts and collaborate across the organization to support our evolving technology strategy, striving to put best-in-class reporting and capabilities in the hands of our Territory and Field Leaders. This position will report into the Vice President, Planning & Analysis for the Prudential Advisors organization.
What you can expect:
Design, create and manage programming codes to generate key reports and data outputs to streamline business functions, drive implementation, increase productivity and ensure optimal utilization of resources.
Manage and maintain data sets in large databases and platforms; Output and exporting data and tables and matching and merging datafiles from multiple sources and formats in support of key strategic initiatives and programs which drive growth in revenue.
Create and implement workflow, process automation, conduct unit testing, analyze, manage, and maintain programs and codes to improve efficiency and adapt new specifications.
Research and review errors through quality control and validation of intended outcomes.
Participation in the ongoing evolution of technology strategy for Retail Advice and Solutions for key stakeholders and Field Leaders.
Build and manage relationships with internal business leaders and partners in technology on business requirements, technical specification, design, prioritization, and architecture to execute and support complex technical requirements as programs evolve.
Collaborate and communicate effectively with various professionals, including team members, business leaders and Global Technology and IT Technology project management teams to ensure business requirements are received and scope of work is in line with Prudential Advisors overall strategy
What youll need:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or information science is preferred
5+ years of SAS programming experience, specifically with manipulating and analyzing quantitative data
Advanced skills in SQL and experience in large scale databases
Basic Linux proficiency
Extensive knowledge of Microsoft platform, including Microsoft Office 365 tools.
Common knowledge of Tableau and Salesforce helpful.
Experience with financial services technology and working with various stakeholders
Proven analytical skills enabling the individual to collaborate with others to identify potential solutions and to think objectively
Strong project management skills, with high attention to detail
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently to achieve objectives, seeking manager's input as needed
Itd be a plus if you had:
Familiarity with Python, R, C# skills are a plus.
