Job DescriptionAs an Industry Sales Manager, Discrete you will lead a sales team, resulting in sustained sales and market share growth for assigned products, solutions and services.You will implement sales strategies in partnership with the territory management team, to achieve annual goals. You will manage the daily sales within the assigned territory, including accountability for commercial programs, while working with extended resources. You will be responsible for a large customer base ranging in account size and for managing the direct sales staff to achieve sustainable growth.You will focus on the warehousing, e-commerce and logistics industries along with other discrete industries within the portfolio structure. Knowledge of selling in these industries is a key requirement and an understanding of the processes and associated ecosystem (such as key suppliers, organizational structure and influencers, specification development, coordinating key stakeholders, and services) that are leveraged within the industry is required. You will have an understanding of the digital transformation and smart connected operations including the digital thread, analytics, and warehousing execution systems are.
