The Industrial strategy work as part of the Insulation business long-range-strategy seeks to transform and modernize our global production and supply chain assets driving significant productivity (targeting $50MM per year), strong cash flow, and a 4-5 pt improvement in ROI for the business.The Industrial Strategy manager, is an agile resource, focusing on the acceleration of the business' operational strategy and network optimization key initiatives. This individual will partner closely with the strategic marketing, operational leadership, finance, supply chain, and technical support. The scope of this role includes, but is not limited to capacity development planning, asset utilization roadmap, network cost optimization, competitive analytics, and specific program support.This position reports to the Industrial Strategy director.JOB RESPONSIBILITIESCapacity Development Planning & Capacity Utilization RoadmapDevelopment of the sources and timeline of capacity additions and subtractions in the product platform networks to adequately and cost-effectively support business growthPartner with Project Management on the development of the management systems to assess effective progress in capacity generationNetwork Cost OptimizationAssessment of opportunities in the network to drive lowest delivered cost via balance of operational and supply chain impactsPartner with Product Management and Manufacturing to determine the optimal product capabilities needed for each line, and implement capital investment plansInform capital investment choices based on a low-delivered cost and industry-leading quality across the platformsLead cross-functional teams to determine low-delivered cost freight strategies and implement effective execution plansDetermine optimal product mix by line, with a focus on maximizing contribution margin per hourCompetitive AnalyticsOwnership and enhancement of competitive cost analytics study and modelingCreate and implement tools for measuring industry capacities, capabilities, factors of production, cost structures, and utilizationTranslation of the competitive cost modeling to a roadmap for OC to capitalize on lowest delivered cost advantageProgram SupportStrategic development, analytical, alignment, and execution support of key network optimization programsJOB REQUIREMENTSExperience:Education: MBA in Business Administration or the equivalent of 5+ years of experience in Strategy, marketing, operations, or financial rolesStrategy Development.
