　　Job Summary and Qualifications

　　Coordinates Employee Health Program.

　　Develops policies and procedures related to Employee Health

　　Provides new hire orientation.

　　Oversees the hospital-wide, vaccination and exposure programs.

　　Maintains accurate employee health records.

　　Assists Manager of Occupational Health/Workers Compensation in coordination of Workers Compensation Program.

　　Maintains regulatory compliance related to TOSHA and OSHA guidelines.

　　Associate degree RN

　　Current Tennessee RN licensure

　　BLS Certification Required

　　Previous experience in Employee Health is preferred.

　　Technical skills: Improvement methodology skills, systems understanding, facilitation and teaching skills, computer, written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, organized and detailed.

　　The Employee Health Nurse manages the administration of Employee Health policies, procedures and the Employee Health Program. The Employee Health Nurse carries out responsibilities in some of the following functional areas: (1) Regulatory compliance with OSHA and TOSHA; (2) Hospital-wide TB, fit testing and vaccination programs and (3) Employee tracking of exposure incidents and follow-up treatments.
