　　Job Summary:

　　Prepares custom switchgear products & surfaces for coating treatments & applies.

　　Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the Job:

　　This position requires the knowledge of using different types of paint application equipment to include gravity feed, premix, 2KS, Pressure Pot HVLP.

　　Working knowledge of the following: measuring equipment; wet MIL thickness gauges, dry MIL thickness gauges, zahn cups, urethanes and epoxies.

　　Works from verbal direction and written specifications. Ability to complete written production records and read blueprints.

　　Masks portions of components that do not require paint such as bearings, bushings, rub strips, etc.

　　Performs daily cleaning and maintenance activities on painting equipment.

　　Qualifications:

　　To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

　　While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; stand; walk; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb ladders or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, and or crawl.

　　The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

　　Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus.

　　While painting will be working in a heated environment.

　　Education and Experience

　　HS diploma or GED required.

　　Must have one-year industrial paint experience.

　　Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

　　Experience with a high-pressure washer is a plus.
