We are offering a \$5000 sign on bonus for new hires. The bonus ispaid out in \$2500 following completion of 90 days and \$2500 atcompletion of 180 days.*
POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, andrepairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe workenvironment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform a wide range of mechanical troubleshooting and repairs onproduction and plant equipment.Perform single phase and 3 phase electrical trouble shooting andrepairs on production and plant equipment.Perform operation and maintenance of wastewater collection system,or wastewater pre-treatment system.Perform fabrication and welding job duties as needed.Must be able to read and follow instructions and complete requiredpaperwork.Must be able and willing to wear necessary safety equipment.Must be able to read electrical schematics.Must be able and willing to work with hazardous chemicals .Wastewater experience preferred.All other duties as assigned.Must be able to communicate effectively to all levels of team memberincluding mgt.Knowledge of control voltage, pneumatics, hydraulics, and 3 phasewiring is helpful to perform repairs and maintenance on processingproduction lines and auxiliary equipment.Physical Requirements: The successful candidate(s) must be willing andable to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without areasonable accommodation.
Must be able and willing to move from one area of production toanother.Must be able and willing to lift and carry 50 pounds or more.{=html}<>- Team Member will stand, stoop, bend, climb ladders, change work levels, twist, and squat, climb stairs, reach, push, pull and move about the facility or working in unsanitary conditions.- Team Member will work in various temperatures ranging between 28 and 100 plus degrees.- Team members are encouraged to dress appropriately before they arrive at their work area.
REQUIREMENTS:
1 year industrial maintenance experience and/or industrialmaintenance education combined.Opportunities for advancement commensurate with performance andwillingness to learn both inside and outside of Plant Operations.
Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson will have a minimumrehire waiting period of 90 days and are limited to 3 times ofemployment.
*Rehires are not eligible for sign on bonus.
