Theideal candidate will have a solid foundation in fire preventionengineering designation and concepts, with an emphasis on industrialsettings.

Pay Rate: \$40.00 - \$ 65.00 Per Hour (commensurate with experience)
ACTIVITIES/TASKS/SCOPE
Conduct thorough assessment of industrial facilities to identifypotential fire hazards, vulnerabilities, and risks.Design and develop fire protection systems. Including firesuppression, detection, and alarm systems, tailored to meet theunique needs of each facility.Collaborate with consultants, architects, engineers, and facilitymanagers to integrate fire protection systems seamlessly into thedesign and construction phases of projects.Conduct research and stay updated on the latest fire protectiontechnologies, codes, regulations to ensure compliance and enhancethe effectiveness of fire protection systems.Perform detailed hazard analysis and risk assessment to identifypotential fire scenarios and develop appropriate mitigationmeasures.Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, and drawingsrelated to fire protection systems.Provide technical support and guidance to project teams during theinstallation, testing, and commissioning of fire protection systems.Collaborate with regulatory authorities and insurance companies toensure compliance and obtain necessary permits and certifications.Conduct inspections and audits to ensure ongoing compliance andeffectiveness of fire protection measures.Performs such other duties as assigned.OTHER DESIRED COMPETENCIES

Bachelor\'s degree in Fire Protection Engineering or related field;or other related science and five years of experience in a relatedfield;FPE (Fire Protection Engineer) designation preferred.Strong knowledge of fire protection codes, standards, andregulations.Knowledge of industrial processes and hazards is a plus.Experience in designing and implementing fire protection systems forindustrial facilities.CERTIFICATION/OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
