One Family.PURPOSE STATEMENT Responsible for overall ISB Technical culinary for the ISB business including developing bakery technical and culinary solutions, and digital training activation to meet customer's needs. Manage ISB Technical Operations and Technical Team. Partner with Sales, R&D, Customer Marketing, and CBU teams to achieve ISB segment strategy objectives.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMES Support In-Store Bakery & Deli Division strategic plan objectives:Support all division strategies in partnership with sales teams.Partner with regional sales teams for national account execution and technical direction to solution selling platform.Support ISBD team in achieving annual sales and profit targets.Utilize WHQ Customer Solution Studio and regional ISB Broker offices as best in class development centers to lead technical and broker technical team training.Product Portfolio expertise and training:Develop market and customer specific bakery component applications, ideation, and seasonal programs.Establish best practices demonstrating portfolio advantages to customers.Take a leading role in the product customization process.Execute menu solutions from concept to application.Oversee National and regional level plan for technical team training.Establish Back of House (BOH) systems and best practicesEstablish menu design and managementBase business solidification and growth:Exceed growth of base business channel as indicated in sales planExtend tangible "Rich Experience" value to customer baseDrive culinary and technical innovation to expand current/existing portfolio.Partner with CBU Leads for category innovation roadmap development - provide ISB customer VOC.Sales prospecting and white space imperatives:Drive portfolio potential to prospective customers as indicated in the sales planPenetrate new markets and segments - strategic focus on ISB growth segment: Club, Discount, Premier Fresh, and Emerging retailers.Develop best practices including bridging ideas with other Rich's assets and B2B opportunities when building menu solutions.Sales leader and team support:Support sales team as primary culinary experts in customer Ideations and professional product presentations.Provide exceptional product sampling and demonstration support at all planned trade shows and industry events.Plan, develop and provide training on targeted products for National and Regional accounts in the In-Store Bakery industry.Educate and train sales teams on all leverageable portfolio features and benefits.Work with sales teams driving portfolio solution diagnostics with target customersDrive "The Rich Experience" to targeted customer base.Support ISB target specialty segmentsProvide voice of the customer to new marketplace products.Manage culinary team:Provide leadership, mentoring and direction to the ISB Technical Team including performance reviews, scheduling, assignment, direction, hiring and corrective action consistent with company policy.KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in related field requiredCulinary degree/training. Certificates in Certified Executive Chef, ServSafe, etc. preferredMinimum 10-years experience in food industry requiredExperience supervising or managing associates requiredAbility to manage simultaneous events and staff in a diverse environment with focus on client and customer services is essential and critical to success in this role.Strong understanding of culinary arts and bakery technical needsStrong understanding of menu application and conceptsP&L accountability Recognizes and implements industry tendsUnderstands product development processes at MFG levelChef experience / Kitchen manager preferredExcellent negotiation and presentation skillsSolid verbal and written communication skills to include strong presentation skillsProficient with Microsoft Office Products including Excel, Power Point and Outlook.Total travel is approximately 65% (annually). #CORP123 #LI-RT1COMPENSATIONIn accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is Rich Products Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates ("Rich's"), reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role.
