Description
Robert Half is seeking a Corporate Counsel for a reputable company in the entertainment industry. The Corporate Counsel must have a minimum of 1+ years of experience. The primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Review/draft/negotiate agreements including, but not limited to: master service agreements, professional service agreements, vendor agreements, touring and booking agreements (e.g. artist performance agreements, booking agreements, co-pro agreements, venue agreements, etc.), scope of works, NDAs, production agreements, staffing agreements, independent contractor and employment agreements, etc.
Partner with various departments within the company
Assist General Counsel and CEO with such other tasks, as requested
Assist with corporate filings and manage relationship with various entities’ registered agents
Perform any other assigned duties or projects
Requirements
Licensed attorney with a Juris Doctorate degree from accredited law school
Professionalism, discretion, and ability to maintain strict confidentiality is required
Must possess highly effective written and verbal communication skills
Detail-oriented with superb critical thinking skills
Experience in reviewing and drafting contracts
Strong research skills and proficient in identifying and effectively resolving any questions or issues
Must possess ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment but with a team-oriented approach
Responsive and collaborative attitude to any project requests, emails, calls and departmental / personnel needs
Ability to perform under pressure, managing multiple projects and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines
Possess sound judgement at all times
