  POSITION SUMMARY:

  The ECM System Administrator is responsible for the Onbase Enterprise Information Platform implementation at Republic Services. The Administrator performs key functions such as configuration changes, creation of roles and permissions, administration of application-level resources, and data administration. This is a very technical role that requires a thorough understanding of the ECM application and associated applications.

  PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBLITIES:

  • Performs daily administration and end-user support of the ECM platform. This includes managing multiple user setups, user roles, profiles, security, business rules, and permission sets, customization of objects, fields, record types, page layouts, formulas, validations, data backups, configure workflows, knowledge management,

  • Creates and maintains Reports/Dashboards.

  • Creates and maintains documentation on processes, policies, application configuration and user guides as needed.

  • Performs data imports, data integrity and data manipulation tasks, ensuring proper ownership of existing information

  • Follows best practices to produce clean, efficient and maintainable platform configurations.

  • Follows best practices by testing rigorously configuration changes within the Onbase sandbox before deploying to production.

  • Simplifies and reduces technical debt by identifying and deleting unused fields, workflows, validation rules, reports, dashboards, objects, users and more.

  • Maintains data quality by identifying and deleting or merging duplicate records, cleansing and updating inaccurate data.

  • Assists in the implementation of security practices by monitoring login and user activity, deactivating unused users, and auditing field and profile access and security permissions.

  • Installs and maintains managed and unmanaged packages.

  • Leverages source code repository to manages configuration changes made in OnBase if applicable

  • Stays current on OnBase technology and releases.

  • Participates in OnBase Production related issues/downtime.

  • Works with OnBase Support to resolve platform related issues (case management).

  • Follows all required Company policies and practices relating to the System Development Life Cycle.

  • Provides Tier 3 support and resolution of open IT issues escalated by IT Customer Support.

  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.

  QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experienced implementing OnBase Workflow, OnBase WorkView, OnBase API, SharePoint Administration / Development

  • Microsoft Systems Administration certification or comparable experience with Windows Server 2012+, IIS 8.0 +, SQL Server 2012• Experience in software and project lifecycle areas such as Agile and Waterfall

  • Experience in release and change management.

  • Experience developing server-side programming, preferred frameworks: C#, ASP.NET, and .NET

  • Experience developing client-side solutions using JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, XML, jQuery

  • Experience developing and integrating with Web Services / REST APIs

  • Business Analysis experience organizing and documenting requirements / user stories and execute on solutions that align with the business processes

  • Experience with writing SQL queries, and creating stored procedures, and views.

  • Knowledge of networking infrastructure services, including encryption, security zones, and firewalls

  Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience as a Systems Administrator working with Content Management Platforms (OnBase, SharePoint, OpenText, Alfresco, etc.)
