Description Full-time > Direct hire > 100% Remote (USA) Overview: Join our dynamic team as an Implementation Database Analyst, responsible for seamlessly migrating customer data, configuring SQL High Availability, and managing database operations in a Windows environment. This role involves ETL operations, data loading into the Spok database, troubleshooting database issues, and ensuring the successful implementation of HL7 - ADT patient feeds. Required Duties and Responsibilities: Database Administration: Configure SQL/Oracle products. Assist Support in resolving database issues. Research and integrate new SQL/Oracle products with Spok's offerings. Loading Customer Data: Migrate data from old applications to the new environment. Load customer data into the Spok schema during implementation or upgrades. Develop and install customer data interfaces (Spok SQL product). Maintaining Customer Data: Troubleshoot customer data interfaces. Perform data cleanup, manipulation, removal, and review within the Spok product schema. Extract data for customer and internal reviews. Customer Relations: Collaborate with customers to address database and data-related issues. Explain database functionality and coordinate database and data projects. Communication: Collaborate with different Spok departments to comprehend roles and performance requirements. Provide timely follow-ups to ensure project completion and customer satisfaction. Documentation: Develop and maintain process, standards, and upgrade documentation. Prepare documentations for effective operational continuity. Required Skills and Experience: Bachelor's degree in computer science and 2-4 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 3+ years of SQL (required); Oracle experience is a plus. Customer service-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team and maintain composure in stressful situations. Demonstrated leadership skills and a proactive problem-solving approach. Willingness to work outside normal hours, including early mornings and weekends. Technical Requirements: Strong knowledge of T-SQL, PL/SQL. Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server/Oracle databases, and a good understanding of database design principles. Knowledge of SQL programming and ability to write complex queries. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Experience with database backup and disaster recovery procedures. Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment. Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience with data analysis, data visualization, and reporting tools.
