　　This position is responsible for all stages of concrete preparation and placement work including screeding and finishing surfaces of poured concrete, such as floors, walks, sidewalks, roads, or curbs using a variety of hand and power tools, as well as layout and construction of formwork to construct foundations, curbs, ramps, walls, and columns. Position is responsible to patch voids and using saws to cut control/contraction joint s . We offer a competitive salary of $20-25ph depending on experience. 　　A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A ICF CONCRETE INSTALLER

　　Depending on the size and nature of our federal work, typical crews are between 6-7 people, as an installer you will be responsible for the accuracy and leadership of the team members. The day would start with preplanning. Getting all of the tools ready, setting up the crews for the daily tasks that are required for a project. Layout of the ICF walls, which will include windows, door openings, column beams, embedment plate layout. Install walls including the rebar and leading the other crew members in their daily tasks. Once the walls and rebar are installed you will review all plans and confirm accuracy of the walls, windows, and door openings. You will also be taught a skill set that will advance to additional job tasks after the basic requirements are met. Our ICF Installers work on the project jobsite on an active military base.

　　QUALIFICATIONS FOR ICF CONCRETE INSTALLER

　　A high school diploma or GED is the preferred minimum formal education for this position.

　　Five or more years (or equivalent) field or trade work experience in concrete within the construction industry required. ICF experience preferred government, military, or large commercial construction experience preferred. Work in the design-build industry is preferred.

　　English speaking, writing and reading skills preferred.

　　CPR and First Aid Certifications required; specific training or certificates in the following preferred:

　　Trenching and shoring training

　　Fall protection training

　　Confined space training

　　Forklift/Manlift training and certificate

　　Lockout/Tagout training

　　Scissor lift/boom lift certificate

　　EM-385

　　OSHA 10-hour

　　OSHA 30-hour

　　All work is to be performed on the military bases and is paid the required Davis-Bacon prevailing wage.
