About IAM Tools Engineering SR Software Engineer

  About this role:

  The IAM Tools Engineering team (ITE) is looking for an experienced lsoftware engineer to support the ITE application portfolio. The ITE team develops custom tools that support the Identity and Access Management organization within Wells Fargo. This position will be responsible for the hands-on design, development, and implementation of new custom tools and feature enhancements.

  A successful candidate will work closely with the ITE engineering team, business partners, and application users. Have related agile experience developing solutions in an iterative manner, and most importantly have an agile mindset. This role will require someone to work closely with the IAM Tools Engineering management team and interact with business lines and technology leadership across the enterprise in the execution of Wells Fargo Identity and Access Management (IAM) strategies, objectives, and critical initiatives. This person must have a proven track record of demonstrating their ability to effectively engage and lead multiple agile teams, develop partnerships with many business and functional areas, and have a strong technical focus.

  In this role, you will:Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environmentsContribute to large scale planning of strategiesDesign, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deploymentsReview moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and proceduresResolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirementsCollaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goalsLead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staffKnowledge of DevOps practicesAbility to work effectively in virtual environment where key team members and partners are in various time zones and locationsKnowledge and understanding of project management methodologies: used in waterfall or Agile development projectsExperience with Atlassian products (e.g., Confluence and JIRA)Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environmentPerform support for intake, prioritization, Sprint & Release planning, backlog grooming; facilitate prioritization and estimation meetings, manage demand/capacity/resource utilization details, Burndown/Status reporting, communication plans, training sessions, and testing and defect resolutionDeliver process consistency across ITE engineering teams supporting three main focus areas Access Management, Automation, and ReportingRequired Qualifications:4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educationDesired Qualifications:7+ years of software engineering experience5+ years of C#.NET Core experience3+ years of experience with Entity Framework2 + years of experience with PCF (Pivotal cloud foundry ) deployments4 + years of experience in one or a combination of the following Enterprise Pipeline Tools: uDeploy (Urbancode Deploy), GITHub, Jenkins, Fortify, Blackduck3+ years of UI design experience with MVC (Model-View-Controller) Framework, Razor Pages, and/or Blazor Views3+ years of experience developing RESTful web services using .net Core7+ years of SQL Server experience3 + years of JavaScript Frameworks experience (jQuery, Ext JS, Kendo UI or Angular JS)7+ years of Object Oriented Programming (OOP) experienceExperience with Agile Scrum (Daily Standup, Sprint Planning and Sprint Retrospective meetings) and KanbanExperience mentoring/training team members on .net to .NET Core development techniques for PCFAdvanced troubleshooting skillsTest driven development experience a plusJob Expectations: This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship .Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
