  Description

  Under general supervision safely maintain, install, repair and troubleshoot multiple types of electrical systems and equipment in support of a processing site.

  Removal, repair and installation of electrical systems and components within the following areas and systems: SX/EW, leach area, packing area, air, water and power line systems. Perform equipment electrical analysis and diagnosis, advanced troubleshooting and systems/process optimization

  Work on Switchgear and Distribution: grounding, LOTOTO procedures, use of jumper formscircuits, calibrate equipment and completing additional checks

  Review, revise and create SOP's

  Perform NRC conduit bending and fastening: conduit, cable tray, grounds, boxes, and calculating loads and feeder sizes

  Training and mentoring other electrical department employees on

  Proper testing of PPE

  Proper audit of site

  PM's (either electrical or instrumentation)

  Product flow and priorities

  New electrical installation

  Print reading

  Act as Fill-in Supervisor as needed

  May be required to use the following mobile equipment: forklifts, light duty vehicles, bucket trucks, high-lift trucks

  Perform other duties as required

  Qualifications

  Minimum Requirements:

  Completion of an approved Certified Electronics, Electrical and/or Instrumentation program; OR

  Minimum of four (4) years of experience in industrical electrical and/or instrumentation repair and maintenance; OR

  Associates's degree or Trade School Certification in a related field and two (2) years experience in industrical electrical and/or instrumentation repair and maintenance

  Ability to communicate in English with respect to job assignments, job procedures, and applicable safety standards

  Knowledge of AutoCAD drawings/prints, and electronic prints

  Knowledge of proper SOP's

  Must have completed academic and practical competencies required (this includes Line of Progression requirements for internal employees where LOP Exists) and have experience demonstrating the required aptitude. The selected candidate shall demonstrate the ability to apply knowledge and skills while also passing a written assessment where required. This exam is based on skills/abilities and/or academic knowledge; as well as safety.

  Preferred Qualifications:

  HIgh School Diploma or GED

  Experience with VFDs, PLCs, HMI and/or SCADA Control Systems

  Experience working with low and medium voltages

  Experience with AC and/or DC controls

  Experience with instrumentation devices

  Experience with diagnostic electrical test equipment

  Experience with HVAC equipment

  Criteria/Conditions:

  This is a Safety sensitive role

  Personal protective equipment is required when performing work in a mine, outdoor, manufacturing or plant environment, including hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and as needed, respirator, rubber steel-toe boots, protective clothing, gloves and any other protective equipment as required

  Will be required to work rotating shifts in a 24/7/365 operation

  Compensation:

  The estimated pay range for this role is currently $30.00 - $41.00/hour . This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance. More details will be shared during the hiring process.
