REQUIREMENTS: Successfully pass pre employment, post-accident and random drug screening. Satisfactorily pass background investigation. Basic mechanical skills preferred. Must have a valid drivers license if assigned to a driving position. Must be able to obtain a DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card) if assigned to a driving position. Must be clean shaven if required to utilize a SCBA (Self Contained Breathing Apparatus). Must be available via phone for call out work on a 24/7 basis. Must be able to work at various customer locations - out of town overnight travel is required. Must be able to carry industrial hoses (up to 60 lbs.) up and down multiple flights of stairs. Must be able and willing to enter confined spaces through a manhole. JOB DESCRIPTION: Basic knowledge and ability to operate high-pressure water-blasting and vacuum equipment safely. Effectively communicate with Journeymen and Superintendents on areas such as safety, quality, and integrity. Assists in setting up / tearing down water blasting equipment and work sites by lifting, operating, and utilizing emergency equipment which may include SCBA's and fire extinguishers. This position requires various types and levels of job-related training as required by OSHA and MSHA regulatory agencies. Position requires standing, walking and sitting while working either indoors or outdoors. Working conditions for this position may involve exposure to varying environmental conditions. This may include chemicals, gasses, cold/heat, noise, dampness, dust, fumes, and heights. This position requires the ability to wear the following personal protective equipment and/or safety equipment to including safety glasses, face shield, goggles, earmuffs or plugs, steel toed boots, hard hat, full body harness with applicable fall protection devices. Additional pay and Per Diem for out of town work.
