A Fluid Power Engineering and Sales Specialist at AppliedIndustrial Technologies uses their knowledge of hydraulic/pneumaticfluid power solutions combined with basic customer management skills todefine and offer technical solutions to MRO customers. They spend themajority of their time as a business development partner with our teamof Account Managers located in our US Service Centers playing the roleof local, technical expert building relationships with existing and newcustomers throughout their assigned territory and growing our business.This key role has a direct impact on our customer\'s and AppliedIndustrial Technologies\' business results. Core Responsibilities:Cooperatively create and execute an engagement plan with local USService Center sales teams identifying and engaging high potentialaccounts in assigned region including local and strategic accounts toachieve sales and profit goals Act as local, technical fluid powerexpert in assigned region including facilitating technical supplierinteractions with internal sales teams and customers Confer withcustomers, supplier representatives and internal resources to prepareand present fluid power solutions to both internal associates andcustomers in order to drive new business. This includes reviewinginstalled solutions, drawings, plans and other customer documents toprepare technical proposals involving products and services offered.Conduct fluid power training for both internal associates and customersto increase knowledge of Fluid Power and demonstrate expertise and valueDevelop professional working relationships with key supplier resourcesto help specify products and systems that will enhance customerperformance Coordinate projects with US Service Center personnel Assistdevelopment of the Fluid Power collaborative knowledge base includingapplications, interchanges, case histories, Documented Value Addedactivities, market activities and competitor activities POSITIONREQUIREMENTS 3+ years fluid...
