Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Hybrid System Administrator to join our team in Lexington Park, MD.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Must provide the essential support for servers and laptops, to include new operating system or proprietary software installation, configuration, patching and troubleshooting.
Correcting flaws and implementing technical controls in the hardware or software installed within a network environment.
Must be capable of testing proprietary software, data transfer protocols, and hardware upgrades.
Performing vulnerability assessments using Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation
Guide (STIG), the Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) Compliance Checker, incorporating automated Benchmarks.
Must be capable of monitoring and developing the procedures for backups of the servers and laptop images.
Maintain data files and control procedures for a system of networked computers.
Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Proactive personality with the ability to work with limited guidance and supervision.
Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational skills, adept at managing competing priorities and initiating projects. Implementing operating systems and network devices security configuration in accordance with Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) approved Security Technical Implementation Guides.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years’ experience, in lieu of a Bachelors degree candidates can possess an Associate’s Degree and 5 years’ experience or a High School Diploma and 7 years’ experience.
Possess DoD Approved Baseline Certification as Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M, (i.e., GSEC, Security +CE, SSCP and Vendor certification and IT Training Provider certificate for network environment main operating system).
Linux and/or Windows Certification (Windows preferred)
Preferred experience:
Knowledge of OOMA system and aircraft data reports
Knowledge of the NMCI and MCEN Networks
Experience with eMASS and/or MCCAST
Knowledge of registering applications within DADMS
Knowledge of registering a system within DITPR-DON
Demonstrates providing solutions for and implementing RMF security controls.
Efficient in analyzing, developing, implementing, testing and evaluation of software components and/or systems.
Five (5+) years of experience as a System Administrator
Security Clearance Requirements:
Must possess and active/current U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance. In addition to the security clearance, this position may require an additional background screening for base access.
U.S. Citizenship required.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time.
Must be able to communicate converse and exchange information with peers and senior personnel.
Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as calculator, computer printer and copy machine.
The projected compensation range for this position is $73,500-$122,600. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
