GENERAL SCOPE: To maintain the building systems and equipment in good working order and completes repairs accurately and completely.EDUCATION / QUALIFICATION: High school or trade school graduate or equivalent.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:One or more: EPA Certification(s) required - Type 1, Type 2 and/or Universal Certification. Stationary Engineer & Refrigeration Operators (SE/RO) license is also accepted.Certified and experienced to reclaim, recharge and store refrigerants.Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) systems and technology - including but not limited to operation, equipment, programming and troubleshooting.Demonstrated knowledge and experience with HVAC controls, software and controls components. JCI Metasys and Mitsubishi VRF used at JHR.Demonstrated knowledge and experience of domestic hot water systems including but not limited to all major functions, systems controls and operation.Demonstrated knowledge and experience of boiler heating hot water systems including but not limited to all major functions, system controls and operation.Demonstrated knowledge and experience with heating and cooling systems having single, two way and three way valves.Demonstrated knowledge of basic electrical, mechanical and duct work fabrication skills. Must be proficient at brazing.Demonstrated knowledge and experience with troubleshooting heating and cooling systems, equipment, pneumatic controls and electronic controls.Trained and certified in OSHA 10, Lock/Out Tag/Out and safety.Completes various building repairs in a workman like manner that produce quality results.Performs routine building maintenance, preventive maintenance and emergency maintenance repairs as assigned.All other job duties as assigned.
