Description Lutheran Social Services of WI andUpper MI is currently seeking a Part Time Human Service Professional toprovide services at Gaining Ground. Gaining Ground is a resource centeroffering a safe, stigma-free environment along with social services forpersons living with mental illness and those who may be experiencinghomelessness. Our mission is to provide trauma -informed recoveryservices that assist individuals in gaining stability and becoming moreactive community members. Individuals with experience working withpopulations experiencing crisis (not limited to homelessness, mentalhealth and/or criminal justice challenges) are strongly encouraged toapply. This is a 20 Hour per week role. There will be opportunity forgrowth, and an adding of hours to this role. Under direction, performswork involving the delivery of professional human services toindividuals or groups. This work may be completed in a variety ofsettings (e.g. community, office, school, jail, shelter) utilizingvarious forms of service delivery (e.g. in-person, audio, visual) perthe service plan.
