Minds Matter LLC Human Resources Department is seeking a HR Specialist. Successful candidate will support the HR department in ensuring smooth and efficient business operations. The HR Specialist is responsible for the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing and screening candidates to managing interviews and facilitating job offers. You will work closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide tailored recruitment solutions. This position will have administrative responsibilities including credentialing staff and maintaining a personnel database.
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
Recruitment
Administer and facilitate the recruitment process by identifying staffing needs, analyzing positions, advancing candidates’ status through applicant tracking system
Develop, post and maintain quality job descriptions and advertisements for open positions, ensure consistency across all postings.
Conducting interviews, applicant comparisons, and extending job offers.
Communicate weekly staffing needs to hiring manager.
Source candidates across a variety of platforms and sources.
Initiate contact with passive candidates for openings and maintain candidate pipelines.
Become subject matter expert with applicant tracking system and ensure the timely and accurate management . Leverage knowledge with building out existing workflows and capability.
Manage calendar and attend career fairs (in person and virtual). Initiate follow-up correspondence with all identified leads.
Arrange and coordinate virtual hiring fairs quarterly.
Develop and maintain relationships with schools for establishing ongoing learning and recruitment activities for future graduates.
Collaborate with the human resources team to develop effective recruitment strategies.
Onboarding
Ensure all pre-employment processes are managed timely, accurately, and consistently with Minds Matter LLC policies, and all applicable laws and regulations.
Utilize applicant tracking system to review applications and maintain candidate progress.
Culture
Monitor employee morale and company culture.
Administrative and Internal
Develop and execute HR strategies that are in line with the organization’s goals.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal and state employment law and compliance requirements.
Respond to human resources-related inquiries.
Manage new hire paperwork with HelloSign documenting system.
Attend weekly check-in with HR team regarding status on recruitment, and other HR related duties.
Conduct professional reference checks and maintain data base for all new hires.
Credential licensed staff; Occupational, Speech and Physical Therapist
Assist with preparation of EEOC and OHSA Report on an annual basis.
Assists with HCBS Averifi provider audit on annual basis.
Maintain employee electronic database for home health documents which includes: KBI background checks, Adult Abuse, Child Abuse, OIG, Kansas Driver’s License Record search.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
Demonstrated knowledge of the human resources field
Understanding of state and federal employment regulations
Understanding of personnel and compliance records management
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field
1-3years human resources health care recruitment experience highly preferred
Experience with HRMS/HRIS systems
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook)
