This is a job for an Human Resources-Intern Summer 2024 with a company located in the Ridgeland, MS area.
Summary: As an Intern student you will be given similar responsibilities as a full-time, entry-level accountant, so you are able to experience what a career will be like in an accounting department in the construction industry.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Work under the direction of Management team (Estimating, Plant, QC, and/or Project) to understand different departments within the materials/asphalt/construction industry.Spend time in the field to learn about the daily work necessary to go into completing a project. When necessary, must be able to perform physical laborer including shoveling and raking materials.
Requirements: What you will bring to the role: Currently enrolled as a full-time student pursuing a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Finance or related discipline. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially with Excel. Accuracy and high level of detail orientation. Ability to meet required deadlines. 18 years of age or older. Available to work in Jackson, MS full time from May to August.
