About Human Resources Intern (Summer 2024)

  Description

  As a Human Resources Intern, you will assist HR team in various activities, which may include the following:

  Assist recruiters with conducting resume searches, scheduling candidate interviews, coordinating travel arrangements, and processing interviewee travel expenses.

  Conduct exit interviews.

  Assist with HR department research requests, such as policies, recruitment, and/or training.

  Additional projects as assigned.

  Compile and prepare HR-related status reports as requested.

  This position offers a hybrid schedule with the expectation of 3 days per week in the office, and the remainder remote / virtual.

  Qualifications

  Essential skills and experience:

  Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Management with a major or concentration in Human Resources and an expected graduation date in Winter 2024 or Spring 2025

  GPA of 3.0/4.0 or better

  Ability to diagnose problems and identify and drive appropriate solutions

  Ability to use qualitative and quantitative data to make informed decisions

  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  Bias for action, strong work ethic, and desire to achieve excellence

  Passion for innovative HR solutions and process improvement

  Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

  Ability to work full-time in a hybrid work environment for the duration of the summer

  Function effectively in a fast-paced recruiting environment.
