NJR has an immediate need for anHR Internto work with the talent acquisition team to support NJR’s recruiting activities on responsibilities and projects relating to the hiring and onboarding process. Hours will be part time during the spring semester, and full time during the 10 week summer intern program.

What you will do:
Bring your enthusiasm and drive and you’ll learn from some of the top talent in the energy industry. You’ll have hands-on experience with your team and the support of our human resources team. Growing both professionally and personally throughout the program could lead to future post-grad opportunities.
• Assist the talent acquisition team with recruiting process including interviewing scheduling, pre-screening, applications and background checks
• Conduct research on recruiting, onboarding and talent trends
• Provide support on sourcing strategies via social media platforms, colleges and universities, and other community partners
• Assist in organization of I-9 files and maintenance
• Assist in creating employer brand awareness and marketing strategies through various social media platforms and event materials
• Other HR projects and responsibilities as assigned

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related major
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of MS Office including Excel and Power Point
• Ability to work hybrid/onsite in the corporate office in Wall, NJ
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
