Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will support Amgen Canada and Amgen British Columbia.
The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for:
HR Operations - providing HR support across the full employee life cycle, whilst working in close partnership with HRBP’s and the wider HR team.
Health and Retirement Benefits administration and main point of contact for Benefits provider
Full oversight of Fleet vehicle Program including EV pilot, reporting, issues, replacement
Manage and provide HR data for payroll reporting, main point of contact for US based payroll
Manages disability claims, health and safety programs, Workers Compensation claims, advises on and monitors compliance to required health and safety training, emergency evacuation procedures, and incident/injury reporting, Joint Health and Safety Management Representative
Manages reporting and documentation related to leaves of absence and accommodations for staff in accordance with policies, procedures
Intranet content coordinator and announcement postings
Administrator of Employee Discount Program including tracking of monthly statistics
supporting job postings, recruitment and selection processes
Champions Equity, Diversity and Inclusion within the department by providing support to ongoing initiatives.
knowledgeable on HR-related policies, best practices, and legislation
Ensures effective records management for all areas of HR, including management of personnel files and confidential information.
Facilitates employee change processes, transactions related to staff movements, hires, and terminations.
Ownership of HR reporting and audit requirements.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree
3 years+ related experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience using Workday
Fleet management experience
Coachability – open to feedback from HR Team Members to drive professional growth and development
Independent, self-motivator and cross-functional
Strong communication skills (written, verbal, including presentation)
Highly detail oriented, the ability to prioritize
Proven team player - work well with team members to accomplish common goals
Strong decision making and problem solving skills
