Job Title: Administrative Assistant

*SUMMARY: *Responsible for providing administrative support for President, Vice President, and Human Resources Manager, including but not limited to, administration of policies relating to the areas of staffing, recruiting, training, payroll and benefits administration and government regulatory compliance.
*ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES *include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Assists President/Vice President with various projects and/or daily requests, including but not limited to, coordinating meetings, assembling, and organizing information from various departments, to edit and create documents, and presentations.Majority of time spent on recruiting, scheduling interviews (phone and in-person), keeping the Recruitment Log up to date for weekly staff meeting, and assisting HR Manager with hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions.Utilizing LEWCO in-house recruiting tools, i.e. Newton Recruiting within Paycor SystemActs as Back-up to HR Generalist for compiling payroll data such as hours worked, regular and overtime hours, vacation/holiday entries, garnishments, and support deductions and other records: computes payroll and deductions as necessary when HR Generalist is on vacation, etc.Administers New Hire paperwork for HR and Payroll system entry.Assists in conducting New Hire Employee Orientations; recommends improvements where needed.Assist HR with coordinating, planning, executing Company events.Assists HR Manager in providing consistent application employee relations policies and procedures.Assists Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable as needed.Ensures all work is produced free of spelling errors, grammatical errors, content errors; and consistency of content and branding.Able to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, high-pressure Environment.Work proactively to improve existing processes and tools.Must be able to Prioritize conflicting needs; handle matters expeditiously, proactively, and follow through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures and input from various participants.Ensures reporting compliance with legal regulations and company policies and guidelines including EEO, DOL and other government regulatory entities affecting the workplace environment.Other duties as assignedSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors' Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field with two years' related experience involving payroll processing, benefits, and human resources activities (preferably in a manufacturing environment); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
